SUMMER 2007

Last summer , when i made these ones, I was very into teenage pinups, and gangsta rap.
This pinup mania initiated the idea of my 2008 student movie, California Love, that I will post very soon.

Beasts ! 2

This was my contribution to the Beasts !2 open artist call.
"The rules: You must depict a mythological/folkloric creature that has been "witnessed" in some capacity in some culture at some point in history. No gods/goddesses or creatures of fiction.I am also looking for creatures that have not been depicted already in the Beasts! series. "

I had done the socks-stealer dwarves.
When submitting, I pretended that it was a legend creature from my french countryside, that when you cannot find a sock, it has been stolen by a dwarf.
But in fact, this "legend" is only from a South Park episode I saw.

Gobelin's gazette cover 2008

I have done the cover of Gobelin's gazette 2008 (which is sold once a year).
I wanted it to look like a wicked gift wrapping paper.

It was folded in the middle: the right half is the back.

French ministry (of War) ...(...NOT)

These are designs I've done for an animated short for a french ministry, who wanted a film about European students.
My project is about tall people going abroad, to a country with small people.

I will probably post the film when it is over (we are working on the animation with Emmanuelle Walker right now).
