Parents named her after an energy drink, because she used to move a lot in her mother's womb.

Mes vacances en Dordogne etaient pretextes a de longs tetes a tete avec l'animal. Ma tante avait fait l'aquisition de cet oiseau rare dans une animalerie de la region, avant que sa capture ne fut interdite. Je ne ratais pas une seule occasion de le toucher. Je pouvais plonger mes yeux dans les siens pendant des heures. Un jour, ma tante a fait dont de la bete a un zoo. Nous lui avons rendu quelques visites, mais ce n'etait plus comme avant.

First I planned to make an animated gif with this one, but in the end I'm not sure I like it enough to spend any more time on it.

THE NEW-YORK TIMES

Le célèbre journal New-Yorkais m'a commandé ce gif animé pour illustrer cet article au sujet de la violence dans les médias. Une version dénuée d'animation était aussi présentée dans l'edition papier du jour.

The famous New-York Newspaper commissioned me this animated gif, for this article about media violence. A version without animation was also featured in the printed version of the news.

Chers amis,

Je viens de retirer 90% du projet BD ANIMEE (Lycéennes) de mes sites, ce qui me fend le coeur.

En effet, le nouveau magazine online et pour tablette PROFESSEUR CYCLOPE a racheté le projet : ce qui est en réalité une très bonne nouvelle, puisque PROFESSEUR CYCLOPE m'a commandé 6 nouveaux épisodes du projet d'ici au printemps.

Le magazine, partenaire avec ARTE, a pour ambition "d'être ce que certains magazines de BD furent à la presse à la « belle époque » : une alternative excitante, cohérente, en phase avec son temps."
Je vous invite à découvrir le site. 
Chaque numéro sera consultable en version allégée et gratuite pendant un mois sur le site d'ARTE.  Ensuite, pour le conserver et acceder à des contenus supplémentaires, il faudra en faire l'acquisition payante. 

Merci aux lecteurs de ce blog, qui ont encouragé le projet : voila tout de même pour vous quelques cases de l'épisode 5, en attendant sa sortie dans le Professeur Cyclope de mai 2013.

I just deleted 90% of the ANIMATED COMICS (Schoolgirls) from my sites, with great sorrow. 

The reason is that online/ipad magazine PROFESSEUR CYCLOPE bought the project, which is quite a good news, because PROFESSEUR CYCLOPE also commissioned  me 6 new episodes of the project for this spring. 

The magazine aims "to be what some comics magazine from the "golden age" used to be to the press : an exciting, coherent, modern alternative." I invite you to discover the site. 
There will be a free version of each issue on ARTE 's website during 1 month after its release date. 
An english version of the magazine is also due at an unknown date.
