Le Mal du Sport

Avant de jouer chez les Pirates, je m'étais battu pour le Hockey.
Le sport avait été toute ma vie. J'avais du refuser 4 mariages et un enterrement pour le sport.
Par amour du sport, j'avais eu ce stupide tatouage sur l'aine et cet autre sur la pupille.
Par amour du sport, j'avais sué, j'en avais bavé, j'avais fait du muscle et j'avais brulé des graisses.
Par amour de ce maudit sport, j'avais fait mes armes et j'étais devenu légendaire.

Mais aujourd'hui, et depuis quelques années déja, j'avais le Mal du Sport.

C'est une nouvelle ère qui s'ouvre pour ce blog : une ère de mises à jour fréquentes.
Je pense pouvoir tenir un bon rythme avec tout ce que que je n'ai pas posté pendant ces longues années. Vous aurez sans doute droit à beaucoup de carnet de croquis.
C'est aussi une ère de textes bilingues, puisque le français est ma langue maternelle, qu'il est aussi la langue de Victor Hugo et de la majorité de mes lecteurs.

Quoi qu'il en soit, je remercie tous ceux qui ont eu la patience de passer ici pour ne jamais rien voir de neuf pendant ces longs mois.

Je devrais également équiper le blog d'une liste de liens et d'autres gadgets avec le temps.

This was my contribution to the Beasts !2 open artist call.
"The rules: You must depict a mythological/folkloric creature that has been "witnessed" in some capacity in some culture at some point in history. No gods/goddesses or creatures of fiction.I am also looking for creatures that have not been depicted already in the Beasts! series. "

I had done the socks-stealer dwarves.
When submitting, I pretended that it was a legend creature from my french countryside, that when you cannot find a sock, it has been stolen by a dwarf.
But in fact, this "legend" is only from a South Park episode I saw.

I have done the cover of Gobelin's gazette 2008 (which is sold once a year).
I wanted it to look like a wicked gift wrapping paper.

These are designs I've done for an animated short for a french ministry, who wanted a film about European students.
My project is about tall people going abroad, to a country with small people.

I will probably post the film when it is over (we are working on the animation with Emmanuelle Walker right now).
